They are not properly staffed for the number of tables they have. We were told the wait would be 20 to 30 minutes. It was 30 minutes. We were then seated and told the kitchen was really backed up, as if I couldn't see that for myself, and that we'd have to wait about 45 minutes to get our food. They were right again. We got our food, one correct order and the other incorrect (charred burger instead of a medium rare patty melt), in 45 minutes after we ordered.
I don't blame them though. I think this town is cursed. I've been to Julian so many times as if something may change, but each time I go, the waits are extremely long and the food is mediocre. Such mismanaged potential.August 02, 2016
