  Such a promising start with a warm welcome at the door. However we sat waiting for a server for 15+ minutes, watching 3 separate servers walk by noticing us, and serving others who had been seated after us. The $10 turkey sandwich I ordered was identical to the pre- packaged ones at a standard grocery store. Their potato salad was the one positive of our visit.

  I liked it. The locals like it. I thought the service was a little slow but not a big problem. Food was good and the staff was nice.

  Had lunch here today and it was delicious. I had the salmon salad and it was an ample size especially for lunch! Their made from scratch salad dressing was a perfect compliment. On top of a great meal I was was very impressed with the wait staff. Our son asked if he could have bread before his lunch came. I told him I didn't think they did that at this restaurant. The waitress overheard him and said "He wants bread, I bring him bread." She quickly brought two warm rolls from the kitchen with butter for our son and daughter. It was such a kind gesture. Our son is special needs and sometimes has a hard time waiting and this kind women made his day and set the tone for us to have a lovely lunch. We will eat at this restaurant whenever we visit Julian and will recommend it to our friends.
